African Arts For all To See

A great year of touring of inter-active residency projects!

“Youth Projects” provides hours of classroom-based student learning. Curriculum includes mathematics, language arts, history, geography, science, critical thinking, and communication skills.

 

Spring Recital Series

Culminates during mid-spring,to highlight a year long of school and community class projects with African Arts for all to see an showcases what all of the students from throughout the year have learned.

Cultural Camp I

Join us in August, during our annual day camp for school aged children. Camp includes a solid curriculum dedicated to the Essential Academic Learning Requirements and a capable consortia of participants and instructing artists. Daily activities include; drumming, dance, history, art, swimming, foreign languages and song. Limited enrollment, call now!

 

Cultural Camp II

You and your family are invited!! This overnight camp intensive is provided for entire families, teachers, students and lovers of drumming and dance. We develop partnerships and share strategies that help underachieving/at risk students become successful and productive citizens.

 

Odunde Festival

This African harvest celebration, during Thanksgiving weekend each year, is a major national exhibition of cultural arts Performances, master workshops and a day of an African Market Place in Seattle and raises funds to assist with ongoing projects throughout the year.
